Improvements and new features contained in this release include:
- The ability to associate a colour scheme and set of presentation standards (called "themes") to the portal so that it can be consistent with corporate marketing and presentation guidelines. A number of sample themes are provided but specific requirements can be built upon request.
- The ability to build different brandings for the site depending upon the user. A branding covers the logo used, the title of the site and the theme.
- The inclusion of history and audit facilities of comments entered by the customer and emailed to the firm.
- Password rules have been changed based upon client feedback that more complex passwords were not being retained by the client and hence not being accessed. It is now possible to retain a simple 7 character password rather than requiring the need for special characters.
- Options to suppress the auto create of new users and emails to new users so that this process can be handled manually with the client
- When a user has only a single matter published the initial presentation is the full page view rather than a list of one matter
- An option to copy emails to the firm's system administrator if auto emails are used are used on the creation of new users
- The performance of the initial load of the summary list has been improved so that large matter lists load significantly faster.
- The implementation of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for greater security of information. (Existing user of the product should note that their current clients will need to be advised of change of access URL to implement this feature).
